Digi Doodle Challenge - 24 February 2011



The challenge over at Digi Doodle Challenge is "spots and dots".  Again I have used one of the Jayne Nesterenko Patchwork Polly images which I have stamped and then coloured with promarkers.  This time the little girl is holding a lovely patchwork balloon.  The backing papers are all freebies from a magazine.  The card is finished off with some peel-offs, stamped flowers and a sentiment.  This is another card that is going to the Docrafts Craft for Life Appeal.

Rainbow Lady's Challenge - 17 February 2011



Over at the Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week the topic is "use a CD".  I have used my new My Craft Studio Fab Glam 50's CD.  I have used backing papers from the CD, silver mirri card to add some sparkle/shine and decoupaged up the lady and the flowers.  The card is finished off with a personalised insert and some organza ribbon.

Charisma Cardz Challenge - 17 February 2011



The new Charisma Cardz Challenge starts today and the topic is "spring has spring".  I have used the same stamp from my previous post but this time I have stamped the image, coloured in with Promarkers and chalked around the edges.  The card is a green embossed flower card and I have just done some simple matting and layering.  The card is finished off with some card candy and some organza ribbon.

Secret Crafter Challenge - 12 February 2011



Over at the Secret Crafter Challenge the topic this week is "a stamped flower".  For this card I have used two pieces of card stock from my stash.  I can't remember the make of the stamp but I have stamped with a red Memento ink pad, die-cut the image and then distressed the edges.  The card is finished off with some card candy and a ribbon.

Totally Papercrafts Challenge - 11 February 2011


Over at the Totally Papercrafts Challenge the topic is "clean and simple".  I have used a new Faye Whittaker stamp from Joanna Sheen that I got for my birthday.  I simply watercoloured the picture.  The card has then been mounted on some lace and the embellishments are the seahorse and tent images from the stamp set, again watercoloured.

In a Sweet Pea Dream Challenge - 9 February 2011


Here is another card I have made for the Craft for Life but I thought I would enter it into the In a Sweet Pea Challenge this week as the topic is "anything goes".  For this card I have used some gorgeous embossed card I had in my stash.  I have used a Sweet Pea stamped image I was given  from a friend.  She is a Ching-chou Kuik image entitled Koi.  I have coloured her in my equivalent paints to H2Os.  The card has been finished off with a lovely sparkly butterfly and four flowers with gem centres.

Commissioned Birthday Card


I was asked to make a card for a friend.  The images and papers were from Joanna Sheen's Oriental Dreams CD.  I have done some matting and layering and added a sentiment and some butterflies.

Birthday Card for a Friend


A friend kindly stamped out this gorgeous Sweet Pea image for me.  I have coloured her with paints equivalent to H2O's.  The background paper is from my stash - not sure where it is from.  I have simply matted and layered the Sweet Pea image, added some ribbon, glitter, flowers and a butterfly.
